NARRATOR SCENE
Frame yourself up from the waist up. Talk directly to camera.
Show us the below scene TWICE, each take distinctly different from the other.
Feel free to have fun with this and lean a bit into the campy / infomercial vibe.
Start off camera for a beat. Walk into frame from the side and deliver the following lines facing the camera.

NARRATOR:
“Are you a Millennial who’s been embarrassed by the blurry quality of your favorite internet content? Don’t worry, we’ve got a solution for you!
Introducing, LUCID MODE!
Whenever you switch on LUCID MODE in the Opera web browser, you get a clearer, sharper version of the Web, reducing eye strain and keeping everyone in the family happy and entertained.
Don’t let the low quality of your favorite internet content embarrass you this holiday season. Download Opera, now with LUCID MODE!”
MILLENNIAL & GEN Z SCENE
Do this scene on the couch or sitting in a chair. We should at least be able to see you from the waist up.
Sit facing slightly off camera, we want to be able to see most of your face, but don’t talk directly into the camera.
If possible, have a reader deliver the opposing characters lines off camera. If not, pause briefly for the other characters lines.
Show us the below scene TWICE, each take distinctly different from the other.
SCENE:
Millennial:
“Cousin, I can’t wait to show you this video! Your generation doesn’t appreciate the classics!”
Gen Z:
“OMG, are you kidding me. How can you even look at a video like this, it’s completely blurry.”
Millennial:
“Well, it’s old!”
Gen Z clicks something on the screen.
Millennial:
“How did you do that?”
Gen Z:
“It’s called LUCID MODE. It’s a proprietary image enhancing feature in the Opera web browser you can toggle on and off to maximize sharpness and clarity of web content.”

Millennial:
“Uhhh, what?”
Gen Z:
“It just makes the internet look better.”
Millennial:
“Wow! LUCID MODE in Opera! Now THIS is how I remember the Web looking!”
