Airport Commercial (8/17 & 8/18, Denver) – Pay$1200

Posted by on 10 Aug 2023

Date: 8/17 and/or 8/18 (Tentatively one day per talent)

Time: All day – Call times TBA

Location: Denver

Talent:

1- On-scene Reporter: Woman 25 – 40yo

Our On-Scene Reporter should look professional and put-together. They’ll be playing a
parody of your stereotypical local news correspondent who thinks every on-scene update is
a chance for award-winning storytelling. The spot will be over-the-top and cheesy on
purpose, so our On-Scene Reporter needs solid comedic chops to help bring it to life. Since
the spot is for the Rhode Island airport, they should also be able to pull off a New England
accent.

2- News Anchor: Male or female 30 – 50yo (Speaking Role)

Who are they?
Our News Anchor should look professional, put-together and a little stuck up. They’ll be
playing a parody of your stereotypical local news anchor who thinks they’re way more
important than they really are. The spot will be over-the-top and cheesy on purpose, so our
News Anchor needs solid comedic chops to help bring it to life. Since the spot is for the
Rhode Island airport, they should also be able to pull off a New England accent. The ability
to style their hair overly-perfect a la Ron Burgundy is a plus but not a requirement.

3- Chauffer: Male 25 – 45

The Chauffeur should look clean and put-together, like a limo driver you’d see picking up
travelers at an airport. While the Chauffeur is the star of the spot, they won’t need to speak
on camera. Instead, they’ll hold up various stereotypical chauffeur-looking signs talking
about the benefits of the Rhode Island airport (and how bad Boston Logan is). Since they
won’t be speaking, they should be able to add subtle humor with their facial expressions as
they hold up their signs, maintaining a fun energy for a full day shoot. An improv
background would be ideal but not necessary.
