I received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Dietetics with a minor in Integrative Therapeutic Practices in 2015 from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  I received my 200-hour Power Vinyasa Teacher Training certificate from Corepower Yoga in 2007 in Denver. I’ve been consistently teaching yoga since 2007 (at least 5-10 classes per week) and I feel that I have grown so much. I have learned especially how to be a compassionate leader through being a student and teacher. I taught at Yoga on the Rocks June 3rd, 2018 at Red Rocks Amphitheater to 2,500 yogis. I also was in the U.S. Army from 2003-2005 as a Telecommunications Operator/Maintainer and was stationed in Germany. Through my years in the U.S. Army I learned many skills including discipline, respect, and teamwork. I love being in social situations because I am not afraid to be myself and engage with others to do the same.
