Four and a half years after Nick was born, his father sent for them and they joined him here in their new home, America.

Two years of being away from his parents, brother (Joris), and sister (Danique) took a toll on their relationship so he made the decision in 2004 to transfer to the much closer University of South Florida. Following graduation, Nick began working full-time for The Southwest Florida Water management.

MTV’s The Real World: Hollywood

They say everything happens for a reason and when it is suppose to. After 4 months of casting for Real World Hollywood I had put it behind me to finish college and begin my career as Business Analyst. I remember it like it was yesterday. Executive Producer Jim Johnson’s voice saying “We wanted you now can we have you?, Welcome to To The Real World Hollywood”. I had just finished college and was ready to take a new direction with my life. Within 48hrs of that phone call I had quit my job moved out of my Tampa apartment (with the help of my parents) and hopped on a plane to spend the next 2 months living in a house with 6 total strangers to be filmed and aired on MTV. I can truly say it was a phenomenal learning experience. I grew so much as a person from my time on a The Real World that I would not change anything. The lessons I learned and friends I gained are priceless and I feel extremely blessed to have been a part of something so special.

MTV’s RW/RR Challenge: The Duel II

“A rough start to my first MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenge is how I remember The Duel 2. I was possibly in the best shape of my life. Having played basketball all my life I was not to worried about the physical aspect. What I did not plan for was getting hurt. I ended up breaking my hand on our first challenge and losing to Ryan in a elevator chain pulling elimination. I think about how I could avoided the injury and elimination all the time but that is just how the cookie crumbles”
