I have 4 years of college under my belt. My first year I studied Pre-med while on a football scholarship at Culver Stockton College. I didn’t enjoy my time there as much as I thought I would and after one year moved to Denver, Colorado. I now attend MSU Denver and am majoring in Human Sports and Performance with a Minor in Biology. I plan to graduate spring of 2016. My long term goals are to make an impact in people’s lives by teaching the importance of health, exercise, and wellness. I also want to start or be a part of a program that helps in the fight against child hood obesity. Overall I want to be the best person I can be. Growing up I have been no stranger to hard work. I started helping out at my family’s restaurant at 11 years old dish washing. I bussed tables at 16-18 and started doing construction and maintenance to pay my own bills at 19. While they were not my favorite jobs they taught me the value of hard work at a young age. I now work as a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer out of The Point At Lakewood Athletic Club. I specialize in weight loss and sports performance. I also work as a TIPS certified bartender for Peak Beverage on the Weekends when needed. I believe in hard work and am always motivated to get better. I am a great team player and can build rapport with individuals very quickly. When it comes to fitness I love it, live it, breathe it. I won the fight against childhood obesity personally by going from a whooping 270 lbs to 180 lbs in one school year. This has taught me that anything is possible. Cathexis Talent is something that gives me more opportunities, puts me in a position to give back, and I have fun.
